Yet again, it has been a busy start to the year. With Valentine's and Easter out of the way, I'm looking forward to painting some amusing, man-sized (one pint) mugs for Father's Day (18th June). If you know someone who is planning a spring or summer wedding, or, indeed, having an anniversary, why not have a special, bespoke plate painted for them to commemorate the occasion? With spring in the air, flower designs are brightening up our homes on jugs (I often use mine as vases), tea pots, plates, large tea cups and more. For summer, I've developed some new designs. My favourite is called "Beach Beauties" (fulsome, sunbathing ladies!) inspired by sketches I did whilst holidaying in Croatia. For all your afternoon tea parties, I'll be painting two-and three-tiered cake stands. These can be adorned will all manner of edible goodies, flowers or whatever you desire.
