MY STORY
I am Kari Tveite and I was born and raised in Norway before moving to the UK more than 40 years ago - I have returned home to Fredrikstad to run my artistic workshop. I am a life long artist and was classically trained at Chelsea School of Art and obtained a BA in Mural Design and an MA in Stained Glass.
I have been painting fine bone china for more than thirty years, and have a reputation for providing clients with one of a kind designs using traditional on-glaze techniques, with exceptional attention to detail and finish. In addition to painting fine bona china, I am also an award-winning book binder and enjoy exploring and sketching in my spare time.

All Maple House China products are made with lead-free paint.
